Teotihuacan translates to “the place where the gods were born”. This sacred city is located approximately 30 miles from Mexico City. Built between the 1st and 7th century AD, its most famous parts are considered to be the Temple of the Feathered Serpent and the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon.
