Lack of Baby Update

Here is the latest:

  • Ted’s spunky report card came back with an A+.  Yay for Ted’s swimmers.
  • I have not gotten my period in 43 days.
  • Today I went for a pregnancy test to confirm that I am not pregnant.  I’m certain that I’m not — I didn’t ovulate this cycle.
  • Once the test comes back negative I will take Provera to start my period and Clomid to make me ovulate.

This game blows.

  1. I really appreciate your honesty with this. I think most girls our age live with the worries that they will go through what you are going through. I’m thinking of you!

  2. Stay with it girl, it will happen! Glad to hear the swimmers are in good shape. They’ll get their egg:)

  3. Since you have been ovulating regularly I have high hopes for your results with Clomid. I have my fingers crossed for you guys!

  4. Wow this happened to me a few times too, but I don’t want a baby ( yet )..pretty creepy, maybe ill give a try with the meds which give period back..

  5. I’m glad that problems on his side were ruled out. I’ll definitely be thinking of you as you get everything sorted out! I know it takes such a huge emotional toil…

  6. Good luck!! I know this isn’t easy for you at all, but keep at it… just think about how much you’ll appreciate it when it happens!

  7. My best friend just got pregnant after a year of trying, and 3 cycles on Clomid. I know this will happen for you too! Hang in there!!

  8. Oh! This must be so frustrating! But it sounds like you’ve got a good plan going. I have a friend went on Clomid twice with two beautiful, beautiful results. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

  9. Holy cow it’s been 43 days? So frustrating. But I’m glad Ted got a good report card. Buy him a cookie.

  10. Hang in there darlin! You’ll cringe when I say it but “it will happen when it’s supposed to.” I certainly am not looking forward to playing that game one day either.

  11. I’m so sorry you’re having trouble… I hope you have a Spring surprise just around the corner! (That way you don’t have to worry about bathing suit season… you’d be preggers!)

  12. I’m sorry you guys are having to deal with this. Hang in there — you’re going to be one amazing mommy someday soon!

  13. It blows yes, but having better knowledge to work with allows you to make better decisions regarding the next steps of planning. Still wishing you the best of luck.

  14. I have a friend who is going through a similar thing. I don’t know how long you’ve been trying but they have been trying for going on 6 months now to no avail. Although it’s hard to do, I think staying positive in situations can really help.

I will say that my sister and her hubby tried for a few years and couldn’t get pregnant. They tried everything and then they stopped trying. She got pregnant a few months later.
