I don’t usually talk politics here on my blog (I didn’t even post about the election), but I have to say something in this instance. While I respect any churches right not to perform a marriage ceremony for a gay couple, I do not believe that our government has the right to exclude anyone from choosing the institution of marriage. For me, this issue shouldn’t even be an issue. Marriage for all hurts no one, while marriage for some hurts so many. So, having been inspired by Jenn, Rachel, and Renee, I have to add my own snapshot to the mix:

Show your support for gay rights by snapping your own photo and adding your name on this blog!

Completely agree

Awesome photo. There really are no words necessary after that. Good one!

Thank you! That’s what I’ve tried to tell people who want to vote for all these awful propositions — you can be against gay marriage, but regardless, it shouldn’t be the government’s job to do something that is essentially religious in nature. Civil unions for everybody!

I totally agree with what you’ve said. It’s not up to the government to restrict who can marry!
I’m doing this once I get home. Loves it!
