It’s been a busy, busy weekend.  I am exhausted.  Here’s why:

• Friday I decided to bite the bullet and join Facebook.  Why?  I’m not really sure.  I guess I just didn’t have enough things to do on the internet.
• Joining Facebook resulted in Ted and I spending the evening with an old friend (actually the friend who married us).  I stayed up way past my bedtime.
• Saturday I slept in.
• Then my sister called.  My dad wanted us to drive into the city and hang out on their boat since they were docked at a harbor on Lake Michigan.
• We went.  I wore cute shoes.  Then we went to the Shedd Aquarium.
• Do you know it costs $25 to get into the Shedd?  Lame.
• Then we took a water taxi to Navy Pier and a second water taxi to Michigan Ave.
• I found cute clothes on sale at the Limited and my dad bought them for me.  Awesome, and completely random since my dad hasn’t paid for anything I own in about 10 years.
• Then it was time for dinner so we took a cab back to the boat and cooked up some tasty kabobs.
• There was the watching of the Olympics and the fireworks from Navy Pier.
• Jenny and I drove home, and I slept until 10 a.m.
• I tried to go online this morning, but I was thwarted by our internet connection which has been lousy since the storm.
• So, instead I started organizing crap for school which made me feel overwhelmed.
• Now, I’m going to find a recipe for fried pickles.
