Hey guys! Roo here. This weeks Roosday-Tuesday is going to be a little light. We have no power and mom hasn’t uploaded pictures recently. Plus, we don’t have any pictures about what this post is about — the lack of power.
Last night, the lights went out. Then mom ran around the house until she found these wands that glow. They bothered me, but not as much as the flashing lights outside. Grrrr. Plus, there was this siren that kept going off. Momma was scared, so I pretended not to be scared and growled at the window a lot. Kaya was a big chicken and sat on momma. We stayed in the dark all night.
This morning, the sun was out, but mom and dad were cranky. Apparently we don’t have “power.” They kept calling on the phone and listening to a recorded message that told then that we wouldn’t have power for a while. Whatever “power” is, my parents want it. Mom hasn’t sat at her computer all day. I guess power is for that. Also, my fan doesn’t work and when I lick the floor vents, nothing comes out.
Mom and dad are going to a place called “Panera” so they can plug things in and get some more “power.” I hope when they come back my floor vents will work again!
What do our other puppy friends do when they don’t have power? Smalls, Kaya, Ben, Bailey, Foxy, & Zapp
Great post, Rufus! I’m sorry those glowing wands upset you, but I’m proud of you for protecting your family through the lack of “power”! Hope your vents are sharing the love again soon!

I depend on my senile old landlady to pay the electric bill, and if she forgets, which is very likely, I’m going to join the no-power world.
